The first video we made (produced by Berlin company Bears Calling) was deemed too violent by the writers (Lieber & Stoller) of “Stand By Me” so we had to remove it from the internet.  However, they also liked Ki:Theory’s version of “Stand By Me”, calling it in their minds “THE modern day (2014) version of their song”, and encouraged me to make a new video.  I went back to the drawing board and worked with Richmond, VA company Mondial Creative  to devise a captivating new concept that matched the emotional intensity of the track while bypassing the easy route of blood and violence.  In this new official video, we see one man’s seemingly normal night unravel into a chaotic disorienting mindfuck.
