Thank you DJ Shadow (and Ki:Theory…) fans of the fine city of Charlottesville, VA. You’re energy and enthusiasm was received and welcomed. Can’t wait to be back! Please enjoy some great shots taken by photographer Mr. Jack Looney – and to him I express my thanks as well.
In 1996 this man created something that opened my eyes. I will never close them.

Ki:Theory supporting DJ Shadow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My good friend Matt Brehony (Big Bang TV) and I have been getting together over the last few months and working on music as schedules permit. What started as a scoring job for Betsey Johnson has become Weird Friends; a side project and outlet for mainly his songs with me producing and engineering. You can download the track “Cartwheels” now on our BandCamp page and look for a new song called “Avery Saves The Day” coming soon…Big thanks to Matt Pamer for supplying us with the cover art.
I’m happy to announce that Ki:Theory has been added to Chris Douridas (KCRW) and MFG‘s monthly School Night New York show this Monday 12/17! We are very excited to be playing the Bowery Hotel with Ben Taylor and Menahan Street Band. If you’re in NYC, it’s poised to be an all around great evening on a school night so close to winter vacation.
The show is FREE…But there’s a list – RSVP here.
“Crack Corn” is featured in this insane Loaded Boards video for their new Kanthaka skate board. They said mine’s in the mail…COOL!
A few months ago I teamed up with filmmaker David Mckay to create a video for the new Ki:Theory song “Needles” (being released in early 2013). This is by far the largest production we have ever attempted and I can’t wait for everyone to experience the final product. Here are a few photos from a recent day of shooting. I got to drive the car…
We playin it… STOKED to be on the fest along with acts like Gold Panda, Nicolas Jaar and our pal Baths. Set details below:
